The Unofficial Are You Being Served Fanclub (UAYSBFC) was founded in October 1998 by a couple of webmasters who ran Are You Being Served websites. R.W. and Minki were unable to find an AYBS fanclub that was still active and thought that, instead of waiting around for them to get active again, why not start their own? And since both R.W. and Minki liked being on the Web...why not make this fanclub an online one? And so the UAYBSFC was born!

The UAYBSFC was created to be another way to unify fans of AYBS, and provide an enjoyable place for members to meet and interact with their fellow AYBS fans as well as express their love for the show. The club has both public and private forums, chat rooms, a mailing list, trivia, newsletters, and even a member discount on DHI merchandise.

The best part, it doesn't cost anything to become a club member. If you have an e-mail address and access to the internet, you are welcome to join!

The future of the UAYSBFC looks good. R.W. has moved onto other projects but Minki and her staff are still here managing the club. Since the UAYBSFC's inception in 1998, almost 700 members have joined the club ranks. Right now, the club remains free to join, unofficial and online, and has no plans to close down. Further down the road, the UAYBSFC may branch out from online to...offline (?), but there are no plans to go snail-mail at the present time.
